About the Tour
Raindance is proud and excited to be taking some of the top films from the 2013 festival on tour around the UK. We’re committed to the promotion of British film and British filmmaking across the country and we see the tour as a great chance to give audiences a taste of something different, a taste of Raindance.
On the programme are a ‘Robin Hood of the electricity grid’ documentary from India, a post-modern rom-com about a film critic who hates rom-coms, a wickedly funny British film about a couple who keep accidentally killing, and a selection of eclectic shorts from around the world.
In addition, we’re bringing two events designed to inspire people to take up filmmaking, whether as a career or for fun. We’ll present the world famous ’99 Minute Film School’ that tells you everything you need to know about the film industry in just over 1.5 hours. We’ll also be hosting a 48 Hour Filmmaking Challenge and screening the shortlist of best entries at each event.
Details of each tour stop can be found at the top of the page – see you there!
